Auditions Scheduled for Spring Theatrical Productions at CCC
Camden County College has scheduled tryouts for all of its spring productions, two full-scale Stages at CCC shows and two Page on the Stage readings, in January.
Auditions for “The Hot l Baltimore” by Lanford Wilson will be held beginning at 7 p.m. on Jan. 16. Potential cast members must prepare a brief contemporary monologue for their tryout.
Auditions for “Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Jan. 28. Potential cast members must prepare a brief Shakespearean monologue for their tryout.
Auditions for the reading productions – “Sexual Perversity in Chicago” by David Mamet and “I Hate Hamlet” by Paul Rudnick – also will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Jan. 28. No prepared material will be necessary.
All auditions will take place in CCC’s Little Theatre, which is located inside Lincoln Hall on the Blackwood Campus at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township. Actors will be seen on a first-come basis. Those unable to attend a casting session may submit resumes to Professor Marjorie Sokoloff at email@example.com beforehand.
Technicians and crew members also are being sought. Designers and other potential crew should contact Don Swenson at firstname.lastname@example.org to be considered.
Performance times and dates for the full productions are as follows: “The Hot l Baltimore” at 8 p.m. on Feb. 28 and March 1, 6, 7 and 8 and at 3 p.m. March 2 and “Much Ado About Nothing” at 8 p.m. May 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10 and 3 p.m. May 4.
