CCC Employees 'Entering New Dimensions' with 47th Annual Art Show
New works currently fill Camden County College’s Marlin Gallery for the 47th annual Visual Arts Department employee art exhibition. “Entering New Dimensions” is being displayed in the Blackwood Campus venue through Dec. 13.
Although both new and seasoned professors, instructors and staff are showing their works, all of the pieces on display are new ones. They are rendered in a variety of media, from sculpture and painting to photography and film.
Exhibiting in this year’s show are: Meredith Amos of Vineland; Gregory Brellochs of Philadelphia, Pa.; David Gamber of Moorestown; Fred Herr of Collingswood; Kay Klotzbach of Lindenwold; Deborah Moss Marris of Moorestown; Debbie McCarthy of Atco; Pat Meeder of Mantua; Tom Murray of Bristol, Pa.; Joanna Platt of Philadelphia, Pa.; Phil Rychert of Pennsauken; Dressler Smith of Sicklerville; and Kathleen Zielinski of Mount Laurel.
“The title ‘Entering New Dimensions’ references the art programs and faculty we have at the College as well as the diverse areas of interest our respective works investigate,” said Brellochs, a full-time faculty member and chair of the Visual Arts Department. “We are all practicing artists as well as teachers, and our artistic practices and works are always evolving and changing. To me, ‘Entering New Dimensions’ implies enthusiasm and excitement for what the future holds.”
“Entering New Dimensions” is on display through Dec. 13. Hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, with additional viewing hours available by appointment. Admission is free.
The Marlin Gallery is located inside Lincoln Hall on the Blackwood Campus. The campus is at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township and offers free, off-road parking.
