CCC's 2013 Golf Outing Teeing Off in Support of Student Scholarships
Local golfers will help the students of Camden County College when they tee off at the Camden County College Foundation’s College Classic at Pennsauken Country Club on Sept. 20.
Golfers will compete for prizes in numerous categories. All proceeds will benefit the Camden County College Foundation’s Student Scholarship Fund, which has awarded well over 1,000 scholarships to CCC students since 2000.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., and play will commence with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. A luncheon featuring awards, raffles and a silent auction will follow immediately after play has concluded.
Cost for the day is $125 per golfer, with a special rate of $110 available to Camden County College students and alumni. Included are greens fees, cart use, gift bags, on-course snacks and the luncheon.
In addition to the per-golfer rates, group sponsorship packages that include player slots and various levels of signage and special recognition are available. These inclue the $750 Birdie Package, the $1,000 Eagle Package, the $1,500 Double Eagle Package and the $3,000 Ace Package. Other partnership opportunities include sponsorships for the luncheon, carts, the putting contest, pin flags and tee signs.
Among those already signed on to sponsor the event are Eagle sponsors allRisk, Inc., Kiddie Junction Childcare & Preschool Centers, PSEG, Sodexo and VITETTA Architects & Engineers. Birdie sponsors include Aqua Treat Inc., Barnes & Noble College Bookstores, the Camden County Improvement Authority, Greyhawk and Take A Break Vending.
Pennsauken Country Club, located at 3800 Haddonfield Road in Pennsauken, was voted one of the “Best Classic Courses” by South Jersey Magazine in 2011. The par-70 layout features tight fairways, well-protected greens and excellent course conditions.
