Next Info Sessions for Rutgers-CCC Nursing Degree Program are Jan. 17

The next information sessions for Camden County College’s new Rutgers at Camden County – Blackwood program – which leads to a bachelor of science degree with a nursing major – will take place on Jan. 17.

The Rutgers at Camden County – Blackwood program is the same pre-licensure baccalaureate program that the Rutgers University College of Nursing, New Brunswick and Newark, offers in North Jersey. It will be offered on CCC’s Blackwood Campus to students who have earned an associate of science degree or equivalent credits from CCC. The first cohort of students will begin this summer.

Prospective students will have two opportunities to be informed on Jan. 17:

● From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., representatives from Rutgers University will be available for individual discussion and advisement on a walk-in basis.

● From 5 to 7 p.m., a comprehensive presentation on the program will be made by representatives from Rutgers University to all who are in attendance.

The sessions will allow potential applicants to learn about admissions requirements, deadlines and campus services. Each will be held in Civic Hall, which is located inside the Connector Building on the Blackwood Campus at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township.

Those who are unable to attend either session also may speak to Camden County College nursing program advisors on a walk-in basis at the Blackwood Campus Advisement Center. The Center is located in Room 100 of the Otto R. Mauke College Community Center, and advisors are available from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays.

A summary of the program and basic details regarding its requirements are available online at www.nursing.rutgers.edu/academics/undergraduate-programs/rutgers-camden-county-blackwood.
