Stages at Camden County College will host the first South Jersey Theatre League group auditions Saturday in an initiative to strengthen the regional theatrical community through shared resources and opportunities.

The group auditions, which will be for shows scheduled during the 2012-13 season, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 25. This year’s line-up for Stages at CCC also will include the mystery “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie and the drama “How I Learned to Drive” by Paula Vogel. Closing the season will be the Tony Award-winning musical “Avenue Q,” with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and book by Jeff Whitty.

The SJTL auditions will be held in The Little Theatre, which is located inside Lincoln Hall on the College’s Blackwood Campus. The campus is at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township.
