Pamper Yourself Inexpensively at TICC's Cosmetology Clinic
If the expense of professional salon services is keeping you from pampering yourself, the Technical Institute of Camden County’s Cosmetology Clinic may be the solution to your prettification predicament.
Students enrolled in the TICC cosmetology program – which is approved by the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling and overseen by Camden County College’s Division of Continuing Education – are staffing a full-service salon each Thursday from now through May 24. Hours are 3 to 6 p.m., and no appointments are necessary.
Hair services include cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, perming and relaxing. Face services include facials and eyebrow grooming. Nail services include manicures, pedicures and artificial nails. Waxing services include face and arm waxes.
Prices range from $3 for a temporary haircolor rinse to $35 for highlights in extra-long hair. Most services – including haircuts, up-do styling and spa pedicures – cost $10 to $15.
“Top-quality products are used in the salon, primarily Paul Mitchell products,” noted program coordinator Terri Campagna. “But prices are perfect for our current economy.”
All services are provided on a walk-in basis, and all customers are handled in order of arrival. The clinic accepts cash and checks, but not credit cards.
The TICC Cosmetology Clinic is located in Building 6 of the Sicklerville Campus of Camden County Technical Schools. The campus is at 343 Berlin-Cross Keys Road in Winslow Township.
