Camden County College's Office of Media Relations offers credit and non-credit communication internship opportunities to qualified students enrolled at two- or four-year institutions of higher education within the region. Interviews are required of all prospective interns.
Internships for academic credit are arranged as co-operative education experiences, which normally require a statement of learning objectives and a semester-concluding academic report as well as the completion of a set number of hours. Non-credit internships are arranged as unpaid work experiences and involve the completion of a set number of hours.
Office of Media Relations internships involve a range communication-related activities in the areas of media coordination, public relations and social networking. Possible assignments include research, interviews, photography, writing, writing, proofreading, editing, event assistance and clerical duties.
