Our facilities are well-suited for small to mid-size conferences. The Camden City Campus located at the foot of the Ben Franklin Bridge, houses a Conference Center that offers meeting planners a convenient and flexible venue for business meetings, trade shows and conferences. The Conference Center contains a 174-seat theater with integrated technology, banquet room, conference rooms and break out rooms. Other facilities available at the Camden City Campus include meeting and conference rooms. Parking is convenient and safe in our 621-space garage.
At the Blackwood Campus the striking, three-story Atrium located in the Connector Building is a central focal point. It contains a spacious area for meeting breaks, exhibits or receptions as well as conference rooms, a lecture theatre and a smaller amphitheatre. Other facilities available at the Blackwood Campus include an auditorium, conference rooms, a theatre and gymnasium.
The Camden County Regional Emergency Training Center (RETC) is an environmentally safe site that serves firefighters, emergency medical technicians and other public safety personnel, providing the classroom and hands-on instruction necessary for them to perform in their field. In addition to offering academic-credit-bearing programs at the RETC, Camden County College offers the Center’s mandatory and supplementary training for firefighters, EMTs and other personnel. Classes cover topics as they relate to firefighting, including prevention, protection, building construction, confined spaces, chemistry, rail operations, extinguishers, tactics, inspection, investigation, instruction, flammable liquids, hazardous materials, hydraulic technology, burn building operations, lockout-tagout, self-contained breathing apparatuses and sprinkler system operations as well as EMT studies. The RETC’s amenities include a burn building, a smoke house, a self-contained breathing apparatus maze, confined-space simulators and various props. On-site classrooms, meeting spaces and a 160-seat auditorium – which may be rented by private- and public-sector organizations for their own conference and training needs – supplement these state-of-the-art facilities with computing, remote learning, Wi-Fi and catering capabilities. The RETC is located on the Health and Executive Campus at Lakeland, which is at 420 Woodbury-Turnersville Road in Gloucester Township – just a few minutes from the College’s main campus in Blackwood.
