Camden County College Relief for Puerto Rico
As you might know, Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico, home to 3.4 million U.S. citizens. Millions of Puerto Rican people have been left without power, water or food. Most of the island remains without electricity and communications. Camden County Officials have joined together with Hispanic Affairs and the Puerto Rican Congress of New Jersey to collect donations to help families in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria.
If you would like to make a monetary donation, please write a check made out to: “Boricuas from New Jersey para Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief fund” and deposit in any South Jersey Federal Credit Union or drop off to Dr. Marilyn Martinez, Interim Dean of the Camden Campus. You may also visit http://www.camdencounty.com/event/hurricane-maria-relief-effort or contact Dr. Martίnez at 856-968-1233 or email email@example.com for more information about the Hurricane Maria Relief Effort. Dr. Martinez will collect and deposit checks received at the South Jersey Credit Union on Friday, October 6, 2017 on behalf of contributors from Camden County College.

We offer a unique academic program in a family atmosphere with qualified and caring instructors. Our 12 month program is customized to meet the needs of each student. After studying reading, writing, science, social studies and math, the students will take practice tests. If they do well, they can take the actual test. When the students pass all 5 parts of the new TASC High School Completion Test, they earn a New Jersey State endorsed High School Diploma!
And now, the college has partnered with the city, The Center for Family Services, and the county One Stop to offer Camden Corps Plus. Camden Corps Plus supports youth ages 16-24 who have not earned a high school diploma and want to change their lives.
